Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
NLP is like language; it is used for everything. It describes our subjective experience which is generated by our identity, beliefs and values, strategies (internal & external), body postures and emotions. Through the elicitation of current strategies and installation of enhanced or new strategies, optimum performance can be attained. As well as enhancing learning performance, NLP is excellent at eliminating stress due to worry and inappropriate thinking patterns for exams, driving
tests and interviews, for example.

NLP History
NLP was created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s. They observed and analysed people who were excellent in their chosen field of work and modelled how they were so successful. Amongst these were Virginia Satire, the family therapist and Milton Erickson, the Hypno-Therapist.

Time Line Therapy (TLT)
The mind stores our memories in a line, from our past through to our expectations in the future, in our subconscious awareness. TLT allows you to become aware of your timeline and to be taken back to past events to gain any learnings and release limiting beliefs or negative emotions without having to fully re-experience them. The effect is like having many bits of rope holding you back and then suddenly having them cut so that you can move forward in life. Goals can also be set out in the future which enhances your motivation.
TLT releases memories from the past of learning failure, other blocks and limiting decisions which may have been made in a fleeting moment without full conscious thought.
TLT History

The techniques used have been developed by Tad James over the last 19 years. The language and scripts used have been developed so that the negative emotions and limiting decisions are released quickly and effectively and at the same time eliminating any possibility of the TLT practitioner from causing the client to generate experiences that have not occurred. Time Line TherapyTM is a registered trade mark of Tad James and Nigel F Huddleston is a registered practitioner.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy
Integral Eye Movement Therapy is a brief therapy that utilises the application of neurological principles to generate rapid change in the area of undesired neurological imprints.
The I.E.M. therapy model answers the question, “How did the client learn to feel this way, about that thing?” and applies specific change at the right neurological level.

“I have found that the IEMT is a brilliant set of techniques to use with old emotional patterns. Our limbic system and emotional strategies do not mature as we mature. How often have you seen an adult stuck in an emotional situation with the strategies that they had as a child? Using IEMT I have helped people train their brains to respond to old situations in a new, more positive way.”

The techniques also help aspects of our Identity mature. Clients have commented on how different life can look from the age they actually are rather than a younger internal age.See Website for more information on Integral Eye Movement therapy.
